A: Yes. Many of our Suppliers have dedicated Reps who only service Asset builder members. Over 500 builders on the eastern seaboard, equating to approximately 5000 homes p.a., this represents a huge business opportunity for our Suppliers... Believe me, they do take notice!
Q: How long has AB been operating?
A: AB has been in operation since 1999. It is Australia's No.1 builders procurement group and truly offers superior deals from its Suppliers.
Q: Do I buy everything through you?
A: No, we negotiate the best possible deals on your behalf. This is then offered to you in a price guide, with Company details and contact person dedicated to Asset members with any special the deals for our members. You run your own accounts direct with the supplier under their specific credit arrangements. We believe you need to retain your autonomy & grow your business with Asset as your partner and buying arm.
| Q: Do I have to buy all my materials from you?
A: No. We understand loyalty and look for it in members. We also know that at times you may have certain requirements we cannot satisfy yet. We do however require that a certain percentage of the goods and services we offer are taken up upon joining Asset Builders and that you give a commitment to use more suppliers over a set period of time. Asset Builders does not want to control your business. Asset Builders only wants to put you in a position to succeed.
Q: Do I order my material through you?
A: Not at this stage - you order directly from the supplier.
Q: Do you guarantee the cheapest prices?
A: No - If you consider all aspects of the deal, on an apples for apples basis, you will find Asset suppliers to be very competitive; We believe our suppliers provide one of the lowest "Total Cost" of doing business. Our research shows that you can always find someone who is out to offer an inferior product with poor service at a cheap price. Our research also confirms what you instinctively know, that is, the "Total Cost" of conducting business with cheap suppliers is usually very high. Asset promise highly competitive market prices from reputable suppliers committed to a high level of service and fixed for the term of the agreement.
Q: Are there any rules?
A: Yes - The rules are there to protect our current suppliers and attract future deals. These are given to you in the members information pack when you join.
Q: Can anyone join Asset Builders?
A: Quite simply - No. there are certain critieria that must be met.
• You must be a licensed Residential Builder.
• You’re in either: Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney or Melbourne
• You should be spending at least $150K per annum on building materials.
